President: Ahmed Sulaiman
A hard working, aspirational and “Out of the Box” thinker. Ahmed strives to use creative thinking and problem solving to solve obstacles and focus on the big picture. Currently a Grade 12 student attending Ernest Manning High School, Ahmed has a passion for politics and business and is focused on using his passion and skills to help others. Ahmed is involved in charity organizations such as Youth Central and Free the Children as chance to help better the lives of people locally and globally. His interests in business are demonstrated in his involvement in the Junior Achievement program. Ahmed will be a part of 2018’s forum for Young Canadians and hopes that this opportunity along with opportunities presented by The Knowledge Society will help him grow over the future.
VP IT: Johnson Su
Johnson Su is an individual with an affinity towards technology and
helping others. Johnson has had a very active role in IT that ranges
from assisting others to graphic design. Johnson is involved in
many extracurricular activities including sports, volunteering, and
many clubs. This experience has allowed him to connect with his
peers and has given him insight into new trends, allowing him to be
a VP that is able to be on top ofthe news. Johnson uses his own time
to make designs and adjustments to various parts of the technological aspects of All
Hands on Deck. Even though this is Johnson’s first year in the company program, he still
puts his full effort into being VP, not for himself, but for the company. He works towards
the common goal that shared among his peers.
VP Finance: Arielle Lok
Arielle is the top academic Grade 11 student at Crescent Heights High
School. Arielle loves entrepreneurial initiatives such as Junior
Achievement, and anything that makes a difference for children in our
world. She was a scholarship recipient in her first year of Junior
Achievement by showing her innovative strategies regarding
marketing through media. She was also 1 of 4 students that
represented Alberta at the creation of the Canadian Children’s
Charter. Her passion for making a difference and her entrepreneurial drive will advance
All Hands on Deck to make an abundant profit out of their card game.
VP Production: Lanny Yan
Lanny is a Grade 10 student currently attending Western Canada High
School. Lanny has a passion for fine and performing arts and a
fascination in all things physics. He is heavily involved in
extracurricular activities both in and out of school, having been part of
the Canadian Blood Services CYC, and the CSSMA Math Stars Calgary
Staff Team, along with many clubs and activities in school. Some of
which include Computer Science, Yearbook and Horn Ensemble. His
strong sense of art, design, and keen eye for quality and detail will
further exceed All Hands on Decks success in selling their card game.
VP Marketing: Minhee Kim
Minhee is enrolled in Western Canada High School and is currently in
Grade 11. Minhee is compassionate about giving back to the community
through programs like Youth Central, she has always kept herself
involved around her communities. She volunteers in local community
services with an open heart. Through experiences like these, Minhee
can cooperate well with others and show leadership in front of her
classmates. Her strong passion to art and sense of organization will help
All Hands on Deck success in profits.
VP HR: Hussein:El Koshairy
A persistent, detail-oriented and well-rounded current Grade 12
student at Ernest Manning High School, Hussein has always been a
social butterfly. He has been able to stay determined through difficult
situations by utilizing a head strong attitude for change and
compromise. He has been a part of multiple “betterment of society”
programs in Egypt, such as “Yalla Nebdaa” which was an initiative that
collected young, strong leaders. Through that program Hussein was
fortunate enough to go on a trip to Fayoum to build roofs for people in
need of shelter. Hussein’s tenacity and focus on perfection will aid him to better All
Hands On Deck to achieve new heights.
VP Enviroment : Ritchie Yu
Ritchie is a hardworking and dedicated individual who is currently a
Grade 10 student attending Western Canada High School. Ritchie is
involved in both school activities and extracurricular activities,
some of which include Science Fair and Model UN. The required
appreciation for science and extensive knowledge in current
events for these two activities combines to help him develop an
understanding of current environmental problems. This enhanced knowledge allows
him as VP of Environment to realize the steps needed to be taken to mitigate the negative
effects the company will have on the environment.
VP CSR: Darren Ha
Darren is an enthusiastic individual willing and capable of
achieving his goals. Finishing his last year at Ernest Manning High
School, he intends to achieve academic excellence and viable
experience in preparation for postsecondary and beyond. Beside
Junior Achievement, Darren dedicates his time extracurricular
activities both within and outside of school. With dedication
towards school athletics and previous volunteer experience at
Westside Recreation Centre and work experience at the BMO
Centre, Darren strives to take initiative within his community and pursue his goals to the
fullest.
VP Health Saftey: Alex Kosivchenko
Alex is a Grade 10 student at Renert School. He has an interest in
examining creepy crawlers and likes looking at plants. A strong
passion for all maths motivates Alex to excel in his science/math
classes. He is physically active in and out of school, having been part
of a water polo team for eight years and martial arts in school.
Extracurricular activities that he is part of is attending Russian
school, Computer science, school choir and other school clubs. His
expertise in first aid provides a safe environment for the employees at All Hands on
Deck
